The best thing about your Burbank Airport Nightmare is the Emmy. Classic LA moment there. And… when you win an award like that (esp since the Emmy is the size of a globe) is there anything you can do except carry it on?
How awkward is that when you’re sitting there during the “put your seats upright and tray tables locked” speech. There you are… holding an Emmy in your lap and unable to see around you.
And you know, no question, at least one person walked onto that person’s flight and genuinely asked. “oh… did you win an Emmy?” Now we know why they go off their plane with a dent in the side of their award.

Part of me wanted to see this film.

But any time someone describes a film as “Here’s how the pitch must have gone”… I find myself deciding I really need to bask in the glow of the filmmaking.

Studio exec jokes seem to never get old. Maybe cause so many of them are true. It’s like watching a Train full of elephants collide with a mini-van of midgets. Odd? Yes. Horrifying? Probably. But any time it happens you want to hear about it.

I saw X-Men tiwce (yes I have a DLP fetish that required a trip to Cinemark before the leisurely viewing at SMG with Beth) and Ratner’s X-Men was the “Girls Gone WIld” version that only occurs when a director gives in to the voyeuristic impulse to do all the dirty things to a franchise that he knows he shouldn’t, but can’t resist. Put me in the “huge fan of the comics” camp.
